How to Remove Cooking Oil from Concrete

Don’t let cooking grease and oil ruin your concrete this holiday season.

With the holidays approaching, many individuals are taking their cooking outside where they dunk their turkeys in frying oils or roast them on grills. It is advised that you should always take precautions when deep frying a turkey because it can have dangerous results. There is also another unfortunate result that can occur from these cooking methods: cooking grease and oil leaving stains on your concrete.

It can be a messy process cooking a turkey with a fryer because of all the FOGS (fats, oils, and grease) that are involved. Even if you are careful, grease may still escape and drip onto your concrete. Grills are not any less messy because many have a grease trap. Whether you are cooking on your driveway, patio, pavers, or sidewalks, once cooking oil meets your concrete, it can seep deep into the pores and leave an unsightly stain. The following products from CAF Outdoor Cleaning are the solution to permanently rid these holiday cooking blunders.

Remove Cooking Oil from Concrete with EXIMO:

Needed Materials

  • An Application Broom

  • EXIMO® Waterless Concrete Cleaner

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Before beginning the process, ensure the concrete area is free of any debris.

2. Using the included scoop, EXIMO directly onto the oil stain.

    • TIP: One scoop is enough to cover 55 ft2 / the size of one parking space

    • Use less EXIMO if stain is not very big,

3. Spread EXIMO by applying light downward pressure on the push broom across the cement.
