Attach a garden hose, set the dial based on the coldest forecasted temperature, and then dispense your solution into a bucket.

How does FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™ work?
As water from your hose passes through the FRIGO AUTO-DOSE mixing chamber, it
creates a slight vacuum which pulls the appropriate FRIGO dilution level depending on the dial’s position.
What are the benefits of using FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™?
Customers choose FRIGO AUTO-DOSE primarily because it is faster than mixing by hand and the ability to dial in the temperature accurately means less wasted product and fewer frozen squeegee buckets.
Can I use the FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™ to mix other fluids?
Mixing other products or fluids is not recommended and could potentially damage the pump.
How do I maintain FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™?
When not in use, store FRIGO AUTO-DOSE in an area above freezing temperature. After the winter season, it is recommended to remove FRIGO AUTO-DOSE from the FRIGO® and cap the bucket. Then rinse out FRIGO AUTO-DOSE with plenty of water to prevent accidental FRIGO leaks or spilling during storage. Allow device to dry for 1 hour. Store in a dry area. Do not leave FRIGO AUTO-DOSEattached to a FRIGO bucket during seasons when FRIGO is not being actively used.
How fast can it fill my buckets?
Depending on the supply water pressure and hose, FRIGO AUTO-DOSE can produce flow rates of 1.5 – 2.5 GPM. Typically, this flow rate can fill a 5-gallon bucket in a little over 2 minutes.
Why isn’t FRIGO® pumping when I turn on the water?
Make sure the supply hose isn’t kinked. Check that the FRIGO suction hose is securely attached to the base of the pump. Ensure there are no obstructions.
Why FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™ and not manual mixing?
A significant issue for FRIGO® users stems from overuse and wasted product due to improper dilution. By using FRIGO AUTO-DOSE, users can quickly and efficiently rely upon proper dilution levels each time they mix FRIGO, saving both time and product.
What if I need an extra hose or “Y” adapter for my hose spigot?

I accidentally left my pump and hose outside, and it’s now frozen. What do I do?
Bring the pump indoors in a well-ventilated area and allow it to fully thaw before using. Ice inside the mixing chamber can cause improper dilution ratios.
Is FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™ safe to use indoors?
It’s recommended that FRIGO AUTO-DOSE be used outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Be sure to wipe down any spilled FRIGO® with a rag or towel and allow FRIGO AUTO-DOSE to dry for 1 hour before storing. Keep the rag or towel outdoors after use.
Are there any safety considerations when using FRIGO AUTO-DOSE™?
Because FRIGO® is a methanol-based solution, mix in a well-ventilated area. Do not store or use near an ignition source.
