Better for the environment
Because our ingredients are derived from natural materials, we can prevent toxins and carbon dioxide emissions from being released into the environment. In 2017 alone, we saved 40,000 tons of CO2. It all happens through a process called bioremediation, which uses natural microbes to clean surfaces and stains instead of harsh chemicals. These microbes also prevent the build-up of hazardous waste, which means we leave behind no toxic waste or contaminated water runoff.
Sustainability
In simplest terms, sustainability means protecting the natural environment and its resources so that humans and nature can continue to coexist peacefully. At CAF, that means making solutions that drastically cut down on resources — like water and crude oil — that are typically used to make cleaning products and to actually clean. In just one year, CAF and our customers were able to:
- Save 60 million gallons of water (and save 30-80% of yearly pressure washing costs)
- Conserve 1 million gallons of crude oil through the use of OTIS Multi-Surface Cleaner and ORUS® Squeegee Bucket Solution Concentrate
