Have you heard that this fourth of July week is expected to set a new travel record? According to our friends at AAA, they “forecast that 71 million people will travel for Independence Day and that road trips will play the biggest role in travel plans, with 60.6 million people planning to travel by car”.

Here’s a highlight of the data insights they shared:

85.4% of travel will be by automobiles.
That’s an additional 2.8 million travelers compared to last year!
It’s a 4.8% increase from 2023, and 9.5% growth since 2019 (pre-pandemic).

That’s a lot of traffic! Especially for C-Stores and fueling stations.
